• Santa coloring book, Christmas stickers, colored paper

• Scissors

• Paints, crayons, verity of colored markers

• Cotton balls, pipe cleaners, bright colored ribbons

• Red, green and black fabric

• Mini candy cane

Firstly, cut the colored paper to the size of the cards you’re wishing to make.

Christmas tree cards

Draw some trees on your green paper. Then cut the trees out. Glue your material and candy canes to the cards for a striking Christmas card effect.

Santa Christmas Cards

Cut colored shapes out of the paper to make the house, glue to the card then decorate with cotton balls for Santa’s hat and beard. Cut tree shapes from your green paper, glue to your card and decorate, add ornaments to the twigs of the trees. Dust glitter over the ornaments, as well as the tree, to look like snow.

Color Santa out of a coloring book, cut and pasted on to the front of your Christmas card. After it is colored in with crayons, you can give Santa a marital sack using your green fabric, glue it to Santa’s shoulder to boost the picture. Now for his big black boots, cut your black fabric to size then glue to Santa’s boots. Use the red fabric to glue on Santa’s hat then add a cotton ball for his pom pom.

Reindeer and sleigh card. Use the pipe cleaners for his antlers; glue the antlers to the top of the reindeers head. Go through the coloring book to find a picture of the sleigh, color it in using crayons then cut the sleigh out of the book; paste the sleigh on the front of the card.

Once your cards are decorated, you can add your Christmas message to your family and friends.

There are a couple of ways to do your Christmas handprint craft. The first is trace around your child's hand on a piece of paper, have your child cut out the handprint. Secondly, your child can paint handprints on paper, and then cut them out.

• Make up to eight handprints (4 of each colour). After cutting out your handprints, Set up the design so it fits your child’s photo nicely, then glue your prints together. A wreath design is ideal for your Christmas handprint.

• Decorate your Christmas handprint further with pictures.These can be hand drawn by your child, stickers, and Christmas themes from old Christmas cards, pictures from magazines or coloring books.

Glue tinsel to the back of the Christmas handprint, display on the Christmas tree year after year. Don’t forget to put your child’s age on the back of the handprint and compare next Christmas.
