Kids Activities:
Not only do kids of all ages love to play games, games are a creative and inexpensive way to entertain children. With a little imagination you will soon have them making up their own games! Cardboard Tunnels
What You Need:
Cardboard sheets or boxes of different shapes and sizes
Strong masking or insulating tape
What To Do:
Help the children open out different sides of boxes and join them together to make tunnels. Long boxes can have a hole cut in the side so another box can be fitted into it.
Use the masking or insulating tape to hold the boxes firmly together.
Use a variety of boxes of different shapes and sizes to make the tunnel maze a real challenge.
When the tunnels are finished the children might enjoy decorating them with some acrylic paints.
They could even make a textured tunnel with different surfaces to crawl along bubble wrap, towels, carpet Hessian mats or just the grass.
If they want a spooky tunnel they could hang things from the roof of the tunnels such as wet plastic gloves, lengths of cellophane, crepe paper or partly blown up balloons.
Let them keep up their tunnels for a few days. By then their interest will probably have warn off and you can take it all to the tip.

Child Arts & Crafts Activities:
Making a garden bed Making your garden bed is easy, and requires no watering; bring the garden indoors, it will brighten up any spot in the home. My grandchildren enjoy coming to visit; they love to see their wonderful garden bed displayed. Then we make another one together. We love it, and it’s a great fun time creating our garden bed work of art. What You Need:
What To Do: Cut the top from your egg carton. Use the bottom half of the egg carton to make your garden bed. Paint your egg carton; once it is dry, add strips of colored paper gluing it across the top of your egg carton for the flower bed.
Then stick your plastic flowers to the foam circles with the glue gun. Once the glue is dry and your flowers are secure, glue them into the colored patty pans.
On the outside of your egg carton paint bright colors or decorate with some stickers.
Positive Parenting Resources:
A Parenting Tip - The Most Important Thing A Parent Can Do The most important parenting tip won't drain your wallet, but
it is costly.
It doesn't require years of parenting education, instead it's
actually quite instinctive.
The most important parenting tip is simple yet profound. You
can start using it today and expect almost immediate results.
After over two decades of parenting experience, I can tell you
the most important parenting tip I have discovered is simply
'being there'. 'Being there' has become my most fundamental
parenting concept.
- Be there...when they're just babies and need to be cuddled
for the hundredth time in a day.
- Be there...then they're toddlers and need one more book read
to them, calmly, so they can settle down in bed.
- Be there...when they're preschoolers and they fall down the
slide on the playground.
- Be there...when they're in elementary school and their three
best friends desert them all at once.
- Be there...when they're in middle school and damage something
they can't fix on their own.
- Be there...when they're teenagers and need to talk at 10 pm
three nights a week.
- Be there...when they're college-aged and sometimes just need
to hear mom or dad's voice because nothing's going as planned.
Just be there.
Be there physically, mentally, emotionally, financially,
spiritually, and relationally.
Be there because it works. Be Nice To Woman Drivers I was riding to work yesterday when I observed a female driver
cut right in front of a pickup truck causing him to have to drive
on to the shoulder to avoid hitting her. This evidently angered
the driver enough that he hung his arm out his window and flipped
the woman off. I ALWAYS smile nicely and wave in a sheepish manner whenever a
female does anything to me in traffic and here's why: I drive 48 miles each way every day to work, that's 96 miles each
day. Of these, 16 miles each way is bumper-to-bumper. Most of the
bumper-to-bumper is on an 8 lane highway so if you just look at
the 7 lanes I am not in, that means I pass something like a new
car every 40 feet per lane. That's 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles. That works out to be
982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars. Even though the rest of the
32 miles is not bumper to bumper, I figure I pass at least
another 4000 cars. That brings the number to something like 36,
000 cars I pass every day. Statistically, half of these are driven by females, that's 18,
000. In any given group of females, 1 in 28 has PMS. That's 642.
According to Cosmopolitan, 70% describe their love life as
dissatisfying or unrewarding. That's 449. According to the
National Institute of Health, 22% of all females have seriously
considered suicide or homicide. That's 98. And 34% describe men
as their biggest problem. That's 33. According to the National Rifle Association 5% of all females
carry weapons and this number is increasing. That means that
EVERY SINGLE DAY, I drive past at least one female that has a
lousy love life, thinks men are her biggest problem, has
seriously considered suicide or homicide, has PMS, and is armed. Flip one off? I think not. --written by a very smart man Get your free parenting & kids e-book here...Just use "right mouse button" on the link below, then select "save target as" from the window that appears, to download the book to your desktop.Tales of Little Kittens – bedtime story picture book The Lost World - classic story free kids books download The War of The Worlds - classic story free kids books download Parenting Self Help & child development Books Stop Thinking Diet free self help books download “Accomplish Anything you Want in your Life!” 500 famous quotes free book download For more books, visit our Free Kids Books Directory page
